I want to see peoples low weight builds. My AR tips the scale at 9 and I want to see others have built for lightness. I need ideas!

Total weight is 6 pounds 1.5 ounces
I like that rail. Do you ever have any heat issues with it?
This is not a build although I have been looking at doing a superlight build. This is just a Daniel Defense XM carbine that I purchased new but on sale for $840 - no tax. Since it was a good deal, I bought it for the kids to play with. On an electronic postal scale, the complete upper with rear sight weighs 4.0 pounds and the lower w/o magazine weighs 2.0 pounds for a total of 6.0 pounds.
500g, that is either a very small carbine or a very, very large dog!
Bull Mastiff’s are very, very, very Large Dogs. He’s brindled very nicely.
