Sully Stock

Thanks. An A5 Sully stock would be Awesome!

+1 on the A5 Sully stock.

We are all set here in VT with collapsible stocks. The only restrictions we have are no silencers, you can not have a loaded rifle or shotgun in your vehicle and no lights (with a few exceptions) or lasers on guns for hunting. They are all fish and game related restrictions. And no weapons in schools.

I have 3 Sully Stocks and love them. In a ban state too.

Really like mine. Very sturdy.

I would try (for fit) before you buy if possible, just because of cost. I went from A2 to A1 length and still wanted something shorter, so I was pretty comfortable making the purchase.

There is one on the EE for about $60 bucks now. Some one go buy it so I don’t!

I have one on one rifle and love it. I’d hate to get hit with that stock - it’s literally solid.

Mine arrived with a defective receiver extension … however it was promptly replaced and the replacement came with a $5 bill for shipping costs and a T-Shirt which I still wear to this day.

I see now they have updated it with QD sling points. Mine has the older sling setup, and I have a clamp-on QD that fits around the base of the stock from my 2-point Blue Force sling.

They make an extension for the sully stock, or used to anyway

I’ve been considering a Sully on of my builds and was wondering two things. First of all, does it have any storage capacity in the stock like the A2 and, two, what is the overall length of pull?

Thank you,

No storage.

With basic buttplate, stock length is 8". You’d need to add distance from trigger bow-to-receiver ext to determine LOP.

Extended buttplate is 1" longer IIRC.

LOP w/standard 1/2" thick buttplate is 12 1/4"

If I remember right it is like 1 click out on a collapsible stock w/o the spacer. That is the position I like.

2nd click fom fully collapsed if using a 6 position carbine stock.
Or least that’s what matches rhe particular stuff I have here.

Thank you!

dam, I thought living in Washington was bad.

I asked Sully in a class he said no.

Oh well, you tried. Thanks for the info.

Yeah it was an AR armorers course. He is a great instructor and a great guy. Well worth the time and money. I took his shotgun armorers course too. Again very good. I think we might have his M14 course scheduled or in the planning stage too.

Here’s a comparison to a 6 position collapsible stock pinned 2 clicks out from fully collapsed:

If you’d like storage you could consider this option. It’s an entry length stock with a 1" buttstock extender. The buttplate that it comes with does not have a trapdoor, but you can swap it with an A2 buttplate like I did and then you get storage. The entry length stock is hollow unlike the Sully which is totally solid.
