If it were me, go with a safariland 6360 and call it a day. That’s what I use on duty. It really is the best duty holster on the market.
I’ll second this.
Safariland 6360 or 6280. I’ve been a 6280 user since before it was the 6280. I’ve swapped over to the ALS system recently just to have the same release on all my holsters. You cant go wrong with either.
I strongly concur. The 6360 is the best police duty holster ever built.
I will third or forth the 6360 but I prefer the 6365. It comes with the 1.5 drop UBL. It will give you the ALS system with the added bennifit of the SLS. I’ve noticed Safariland is pushing the 6390 lately and with the ALS guard they claim it is a level two but I’m just not sure I believe it. I’ve had to fight for my pistol in the past and the 6365 worked well. Don’t know that the out come would have been the same with the 6390.
I’ll have to check but I may have a used 6360 in basketweave. Still perfectly serviable but it is used.

If your prospective department authorizes the G34 for duty carry, you might want to find out what holsters they authorize and buy one.
If you are using the G34 because you already own one and it isn’t an authorized duty firearm, anything you will buy won’t have much utility on the job once you get picked up.
I started with NYPD before I went to the Feds… NYPD equipment section was like going through basic training. You move down the processing line and they keep handing you shit (that YOU had to pay for).
The best case senario is that you possess the authorized firearm of the agency and you have their authorized duty holster.
