Suggest BUIS

I haven’t built an AR in a while so I’m not up to date with the latest and greatest accessories.

I have some Magpul MBUIS on one of my builds. The other has KAC BUIS. I would like something different this time so I want to avoid those.

I also want to try something other than TROY BUIS, I know they’re pretty much the industry standard but they’ve been out for a while so I would like to try something else.

Any cool BUIS have come out lately that I should check out?

Thanks

Fixed or fold down sights?

Also, you might want to ask a mod to move this. It is in the wrong section.

Fold down sights.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

I personally use a fixed DD front/Troy folding rear, but you might want to look at the Bobro sights. Relatively new if you just wanna try something different. Super low profile too.

BOBRO LowRider or Magpul Pro.

I think this is in the wrong sub-forum.

Thought’s on the LMT 5.56 BUIS? They caught my attention.

Seem pretty overpriced for what you can get a set of Magpul MBUS Pro with dual rear aperture.

Agreed.

Bobro.

Are these for sale yet publicly?

Instead of just saying “wrong forum” can someone please tell me what forum this should be in and the name of an active mod?

My build in general is a custom build so I mistakenly thought my thread should go here.

Sent a PM to a MOD. No response yet.

In the meantime, if I could get more suggestions that would be great.

I am really liking the Magpul PROs…very slim, light, easy to flip up/down.

Another recommendation for Magpul Pros. Really low profile and I love that the front sight has its own adjustment knob. No need to carry a tool around to set your elevation.

I agree with other, Magpul Pro. I’d probably go with the LR version out back (range adjustable). If you want a fixed front I’d look at the DD and the Samson.

I’ve always like a KAC standard front with a 300M standard or Micro rear.

I have a set of BCM’s Diamond Head round aperture flip sights on the way right now though. We’ll see how they shake out.
