Strongest non-railed handguard?

Evening gents.

Last I purchased a handguard, the NSR was only a concept. It looks like several non-railed handguards have come out since then. The Noveske NSR, Geissele modular rail, Samson Evolution, Lancer’s carbon fiber rails finally (I think?) came out, Troy’s TRX Extreme was replaced by the Alpha… That should cover them, I think.

Of these, which has the least flex (for handguard-mounted sights) and the strongest mounting system? Are they ‘equal enough’ or has someone put out a product that stands above others like the original KAC, Larue, and Daniel Defense handguards did?

Probably gonna be hard to beat the mounts/barrel nuts of the Noveske and Geissele HGs. Both are exceptionally long which helps in less deflection of the handguard.

Curious as to how the design KAC’s URX4 will compare.

Add the Daniel Defense MFR to your list.

I’m already on standby with my CC info for Centurion Arms new rail system. Monty told me the 5.56 version is coming soon. You might want to keep an eye out for that one. :smile:

Gotta say that the Gieselle looks pretty damn bombproof.

KAC isn’t a slouch either.
