When I installed the BCM vertical grip on my hand guard I used a little bit of red Loctite since it was all I had at the time, but when I tried to take it off the other day The octagonal lock nut stripped the plastic and now it spins freely with the screw. I have tried applying a little bit of heat to the screw, but I cannot get a good grip on the lock nut to prevent it from spinning. I am thinking I am going to have to just cut it off, does anyone know where I can find replacement hardware like the octagonal nut online? I know kydex holster manufacturers use those little nuts with the slots in them as well as lock washers on some of their holsters.
