one point it illustrates is difference in immediate incapacitation… he stabs/slices two individuals- both of which might actually have lethal wounds- yet one of the two is still fully capable of shutting him down with one shot from a pistol, after being wounded multiple times.

I don’t know BKB talked to a few older officers that really respected what knife could do at arms length. Like anything though it depends on the operator.
No kidding. Apply the failure drill. Wouldn’t want to take a chance on someone like that getting back into society. Ever.
knife wounds are almost never immediately incapacitating. this video is a good example of that. like i said, both of those guys cut could very well have had lethal wounds- but the gun won the engagement, because the gun stopped him dead in his tracks.
i’m not saying knives aren’t deadly- i’m not even saying they’re less deadly than guns (i do think that, but it’s beside my point)… i’m just saying a gun can end it in a fraction of a second, whereas knife wounds take time to kill. enough time for somebody to grab a gun and kill you first.
What if the nut had been stabbing in the neck besides slashing?
