Spot on. I have used the factory standard length stock on my 590 as well as an after market pistol grip stock. Went with the Hogue Youth Model and haven’t looked backed. The reduced length stocks give’s one the proper length of pull (LOP) for various applications, this is especally true on a shotgun meant for defense.
