Copper has been at all time lows for several weeks now, today it hit a six year low. Other materials including silver & gold & I think aluminum are low also.
So…anyone here that’s " in the know" …can you tell us if this will help ammo prices in the near future, or not? Any other variables coming into play?
Also…I have read on here before, that a lot of American ammo makers use Chinese gunpowder. Like in Winchester White Box ammo. s this true, and who all is using it? Just something Im wondering about.

I’m not in the know as in work in the industry, but it’s pretty clear to me that while commodity prices have a role in the final cost, ammo prices are affected by many other variables much more.
Component supply and demand, manufacturing capacity, and consumer demand play more of a role IMO.
And we all see how demand changes quickly based on the panic driven purchases resulting from governmental intrusion (or the threat thereof) on the Second Amendment.
