STI Stacatto customer service, shout out!

When I got my Stacatto, I felt like the trigger was a bit heavy and a bit gritty. I contacted STI and they said, here is your label and we will take care of it.

Came back lighter and CRISP in a week. Very very happy. Shout out to team STI.

A good friend of mine purchased a P and XC last month. We swapped sights on the P. The front sight was impossible to get off. Turned out to be glued on. Taking it off, the slide was marred. They refinished it free of charge no questions asked. I’m impressed.

It seems they are working hard to not blow their chance to become a top choice semi-custom 2011 gun maker. The USMS contract cracked the window for duty pistols and they are smart to NOT fck that up.

PracticalRM, pretty cool story.

I called them on an issue and they got back to me within a few hours…great explanation they gave me nd that my concern wasn’t a concern.

Really thinking about selling a few guns and picking up another C2

I’ve been on the fence about picking one up for myself. I’ve known lots of guys in the competition world that had issues with STI and no customer service. But his experience with CS and the guns just running better now, I’m leaning toward wanting one.

Which is great and all but then they went and dumped all the Gen1 guns that folks actually loved about them. Makes no sense

Personally I feel as if the Gen2 guns are a regression but that’s just my 0.2

Very nice.

The company has been under new ownership since 2018. It’s not the same outfit in any way.

I wish I didn’t have to use STIs customer service, but I did.

They overnighted it both ways and took 4 business days to fix the issue.

Omg dude stfu

Agree, I was happy and lucky to get late gen 1 model. Not sure why they went to the adjustable sight system and hi power cuts…yuck…

I love the adjustable sights on my regular P. They’re built like a tank with extra protection from the slide.

I’m researching now if I want to pull the trigger on a P DUO with an SRO for work…the more I hear the more I like

That’s what I’m rocking and I dig it. Good luck

PB

Just don’t drop that SRO on anything hard. Was watching a Sage Dynamics vid on it. He drops MRDS on concrete to torture test them…totally destroyed it.

Don’t drop your pistol.

There is a steel shroud you can buy for the SRO.

If it was going to be used for competition I would say go for it. In all the years I’ve shot comp I don’t think I’ve ever seen one dropped pistol. I have seen guys fall down with there pistols, sometimes jamming them into the ground, I’ve also seen guys bash different guns into stage props. But Hextall was thinking of using it for “work”. If that includes cop stuff, there might be a higher chance of a drop because of violent interaction with people. I always like to know the limitations of equipment so the surprises are minimized.
