Hey all. First off, I’ve been lurking here for probably a decade. I want to thank the forum and members for the wealth of information that has been assembled here. The “list” was such a great bit of info all those years ago.
Anyways, I seek knowledge once again. I’m in possession of a Steiner DBAL-A3. From what I can tell, it’s a restricted model. Class IIIb. It’s seen a lot of use, I think it may be a discontinued model.
Markings say: Class IIIb laser product
810-860nM <50mW
635-650nM <65mW
It seems comparable to the model 52302
I went through the Steiner operating manual and tested it out. Everything functions as described. I don’t have night vision to test the illuminator though.
I don’t have interest in mounting it long term, the laser is cool, but I’m not interested in night vision.
My question is, what can I do with it? Is it legal for me to sell? If so, any ideas on what it’s worth?
