Anygood? Pros, cons? Cant seem to find much on it…Im in canada the ones we get are in 223 wyld
Got one. Love it. It will be my back up when I finish another AR.
It does exactly as advertised. Very well made. Very few parts.
The parts are the issue. You can’t get spares. I asked Stag, and they stated they would not sell the individual springs and parts. Other than that, it is really a great design and a good rifle.
Im not too familiar with Stag but is this the carbine you are referring to?

If I may ask, why a piston?
Again, Im not familiar with Stag but based on its listed specs, on the barrel alone, I would pass. 1/9, plus, no mention of barrel steel, testing etc…

I dont know what else is available over where you are but you may find the above threads helpful in finding a better carbine.
That is the rifle but the one I am getting is a 1/7 twist …How close to milspec is this rifle
Not even close.
Dude. I’d bail on the Stag. Or pistons. Get a cheaper/better LMT.
Why is the Lmt better? Please explaine?
What is different on the Stag?
They are made with bertrillium and zantitium.
Please go through the linked threads and compare the mentioned specs to Stag’s.
Here’s an example of an upper that follows the proper specs.
