Staccato C2 out, Wilson Combat EDC X9 in

I wasn’t looking to get rid of my Staccato. I actually really like the pistol. Only thing is I should have gotten the P as the C2 is just a bit to big to carry and the P is a better duty/holster gun in my opinion.

But the other day I was perusing a local sale/swap board and came across a guy wanting to trade his Wilson Combat EDC X9 4 inch for a Staccato C2. Im a big fan of Wilson Combat even though Ive never owned one. I have friends who have a few different models and they are all fantastic pistols. I figure the EDC X9 will give me a better carry size while still having the great shooting characteristics of the Staccato. So I messaged the guy and we met up yesterday and made the trade.

He said he’s only fired about 250 rounds through the gun and it’s been a safe queen. He wanted a C2 to go along with his P. I believe him. There is practically no wear on the pistol.

I havent gotten to shoot the pistol yet as we are dealing with some family issues this week, but it should be soon. I’ll let you guys know how she shoots.

Look forward to hearing your report. It looks like a great pistol.

Good choice, in my opinion. The P Duo is the only Staccato I’d like to have.

The compacts just don’t shoot as sweetly as the full size gun. So you have a fat 9mm that’s shoots like much cheaper/slimmer pistols.

Shot the EDC today. It doesn’t shoot any better than the C2. I didn’t think it would. However it is definitely fits my hand better and way more comfortable when concealed on the belt.

It shot very accurately and buttery smooth

I shot one years ago at a Wilson Combat event and I was impressed, just wasn’t use to a fiber optic front sight. I should have bought one years ago. Having a C2 though, i do prefer it over the Wilson.

Ill be changing out the fiber optic front sight for sure. Not a big fan of them

I don’t mind the fiber optic fronts, but they’re way too fragile.

A Wilson should indeed have something better than a fiber optic though.

I like the 10-8 Performance fiber optic that has the “protective hood” across the middle of the fiber optic rod. Other than that, I usually prefer a tritium front sight.
