SS109s with TAC

Wondering what kind of performance/accuracy I can expect with this combo out of a 16" carbine length system with 1:7 chrome lined bbl? Also will be using mil spec brass and standard primer.

I loaded a handful of them, but never really liked ss109s for these reasons:

1. They’re inherently inaccurate. Some people claim it’s because of the penetrator being out of concentricity.

2. The bullet ogive is unlike all my other bullets… Hornady, REM, etc. Thus they require resetting the bullet seating die… I HATE adjusting my dies unless absolutely necessary.

3. SS109 bullets don’t really do anything particularly well. I tested them on auto windshield, for example, and they performed about as poorly as M193.

I ended up selling the thousand ss109s I had so I didn’t have to mess with die adjustments.

Ah well, I got a thousand on the way. Only reason I ordered 'em is bc everyone is out of the M193s. Do you know anyone that has 'em in stock?
