Thinking about buying one of these uppers. I’ve got a couple of Colt lowers with sear blocks in them. Consequently, I can’t run full auto bolt carriers. I’d imagine that the SR15 E3 upper comes with a full auto carrier. I know that the bolt itself is proprietary, but what about the carrier? Can I run a standard carrier? If I can’t swap carriers this purchase may be a non starter.
Kinda sad, all my RAW lowers (unlimited configuration) have sear blocks, all of my off list lowers (restricted to 10 rounds) don’t have the block. I just can’t put a badass SR15 upper on a 10 shooter. I only use the RAW lowers, the off list are just place holders 'till I can escape CA.
