A lot of talk has been going on about production updates for the SR-25 line, and management has taken notice.
Recently we have been experiencing some order cancellations and delayed payments from dealers as rifles are becoming available to ship. This has made it somewhat of a challenge lately to provide accurate lead times for orders, as well as to create production schedules. In the very near future we are going to be instituting a temporary policy change for our dealers that should allow us to determine what our true order backlog is, and therefore allow us to project accurate adjusted lead times for our commercial customers.
Keep in mind guys, this is for right now. As soon as we get things in order and have something more to report, you can bet on us getting the information out.
Send some of those canceled ECC’s to Cliff Decker, (Sniper’s Hide) several of us paid in full for ECC’s in December of 2012 and January 2013, there should be no delay of payment from him.
Our 45 day lead time has turned into a year…I received my LPR and Mod 1, but the wait for the ECC is getting long, some sort of word would be nice, Please.
I reluctantly paid close to full msrp 4 months ago on an ECC that showed up at a LGS. Now I’m glad I did considering I only placed an order for one back in July.
Hopefully the civy version will now have the ACLS stock instead of the SOPMOD.
KAC is rumored to also be unveiling a lighter weight SR25, but at the cost of some accuracy.
*If you do find one, don’t be alarmed that it doesn’t come with a test target. Mine didn’t, and when I emailed them about it they ate no longer doing the to save time.
As stated in the other thread you just asked in, KAC didn’t ask for or receive your money. There are ECCs rolling through production to meet the back log. Please understand that we are eager to get these delivered.
So then tell us how those deliveries are coming along, Will we be shooting an ECC soon or is there still a huge Military backlog and we are looking at several more months?
Any type of updates for ECC deliveries? I hear your filling orders for many military contracts. I understand they take priority, but their have been no updates since the first post in this thread. Are the commercial orders even going to be filled? I was told the wait time when I ordered in Jan 2013 that it would be 4 months. Its been 18 months and little to no information. Its just frustrating. I love my Mod 1s and LPR, but really want to try out a KAC .308.
Hey Knight’s….Several of us ordered ECC’s 18 to 20 months ago, do you plan on filling those orders or do you just don’t give a shit about your loyal customer base?
Many time here you have come on and told us you are looking into your production schedules and would give us a a realistic delivery update…So far you have not done that!
How about giving us that real time update that you promised?

Guns are going out - but we are having some internal comms problems on the commercial gun, rest assured we are all doing our best to get you both your rifles and info.

It’s too bad, I really wanted to make the ECC my main 7.62…
So in a few months you should have ECC back orders filled? Are you taking commerical orders for the ACC? I heard the same things about the ECC when I ordered it 20 months ago. I am guessing we will be hearing the same thing about the ACC in another year and a half.
I’ve placed an order for 2 units already but was advised the soonest I’d see them in inventory would be 1Q 2015 so I’m guessing after SHOT. This is a dealer order but I don’t know how they’re handling direct consumer orders. KAC is pretty swamped but my reps have told me they’re catching up. Hard to innovate and meet demand but they’re doing their best.
We are building them – however with CSASS and some other programs - we do not want to commit to any earlier deliveries. I’ve been told all the back ordered guns are now built (ECC’s etc) and will be shipping as soon as they can get them out to the ranges to get qualified - cleaned and then boxed up.
I hope this is true. After 21 months of waiting, rumors and even more waiting. I cant believe what you are saying! I hope it comes true! I’ve been waiting for this unicorn too long.
