I almost called this thread “springfield custom carry exploded” but i didn’t want to give anyone a heart attack.
Got a wild hair to detail strip the gun. Did it all without tools. With the exception of the grips. Everything else you can do with the parts from the gun itself.
What part did you use to punch the MSH retaining pin out of the frame? Firing pin?

Correct. Hammer strut gets used quite a bit.
As long as the screws are mil spec, you can use the rim of a 45 case to unscrew them.
Owning several Springfield 1911’s their screws are not “mil spec”. You can buy mil spec screws from 10-8 etc…
