Spread the word: #boycottAmazon

Jeff Bezos is guilty of treason and is actively subverting the well being of the country. By giving $33 million in scholarships to illegals, he is openly encouraging people to break the law and giving a big FU to this country.

I say we give him a big FU and boycott Amazon. Yes Amazon is convenient but it’s not worth the country. If we all boycott and get 5 others to and those 5 get 5 more each, we can make a ****ing difference

I don’t see people banning California products, everyone is still paying taxes in Sanitary cities, & no one is voting out their elected officials that back the idea of sanctuary.

One could argue that he’s actually reinvesting his money into US universities instead of sending money over seas (in the short term at least).

I’m not saying he’s right, but I just don’t see how it’ll help given that most of the population really doesn’t care.

I don’t use amazon as it is, but given how big it is, I doubt he’ll notice if a entire gun board boycotts his business.

There’s bigger fish to fry in this pan that are doing much more harm than ole Jeff, and our attention would be better focused on them.

Yeah I’ll keep on enjoying free two day shipping

And you are the problem.

Sounds like every MLM scheme pitch I’ve ever heard. I’m going to keep my Prime membership, 2 day shipping and for some stuff, same day delivery.

If I was to boycott every company that upset me, I’d be living naked in a fvcking cave drawing on the walls with crushed up bugs.

Good luck with that dude. I think a boycott water campaign would probably get more of a following.

I appreciate your conviction, but I’m not going shopping.

Going to a store drastically increases the probability that I will have to interact with live, unfamiliar humans on a day off, while not in a position to control said interaction. Eff that. Amazon is one of the ways I avoid that problem, although I use other sights much more frequently.

Mod note: I can tell right now that this thread is very probably going to turn even more argumentative than it already has.

So no howls of angst when it gets closed and vacations awarded.

What if I’m buying “Deport them ALL and build a WALL” bumper stickers on Amazon and I’m set up to have part of the proceeds donated to the Cato Institute?

As someone who’s had “Prime” for years and buys too much stuff there, not only do I agree with the sentiment, but there’s some big non-political reasons to buy elsewhere:

 1. “Prime” shipping is no longer 2 days in most cases, it’s 3 or 4 without much explanation, and even that low standard isn’t always met.
 2. Amazon prices on a lot of things are no longer that competitive.
 3. Most importantly, there is a lower selection of real name-brand products, and TONS more off-brand, no-name and fake/knockoff products (mostly from China), most of them with fake positive reviews and all crowding out the real name-brand stuff I actually want to buy.

If you aren’t already using http://fakespot.com/ you need to be.

Regardless of politics I’m moving a lot of my shopping elsewhere, purely for selection, price and quality.

IBTL.

… No.

This 100%. Even with prices at parity of buying at a big box store, saving an hour of my life once a week vs going to the shop and standing in line gives me back two days a year to do the things I want to do. Some scholarships for illegal aliens is nothing next to what the man can do with the Washington Post and I see little complaining about that.

I gotta be the only guy who hates shopping online for most things

I’ve never found anything on Amazon that I couldn’t find some place else for a similar price. To each their own, I guess… Personally, I go out of my way to not purchase from them.

Never had any of these problems with Amazon and I’ve been using Prime pretty much since it came into existence.

Might as well boycott Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, GE, and practically every other high tech multinational. If you knew all that each has done to support liberal causes, support illegal immigration, and State control of the masses you would puke and riot. But life goes on.

This change in shipping for some stuff under Prime has been pretty recent. And es right, there is an absurd amount of fake stuff now. There are a half dozen fake versions of Oakley M Frames for instance.

IDk, I’ve got some shoes for my son coming and a sweet collection of Trump t-shirts.

None of these things could be sourced locally.

I also buy tons of books and and foreign goods, like candy and toys. Again can’t get them locally.

I can also think of much much worse things than paying for some kids to goto school.

You can add me to the dgaf crowd.
