SPR/M4 FH/Brake permed to 14.5"

By my calculations this should bring it over the 16". Am I correct?

Looking to add another carbine that I can use my new SPR/M4 can on.

Thanks all

Kyle

Might want to check with AAC on durability of that brake first.

Yes, it will make 16".

Thank you Todd

What are you referring to?

I think he means that 50 thousand rounds from now the brake will have erroded a good amount.

That’s a cool setup. I don’t think you can run a 13" free float tube.

I saw a pic of a MITER mount on 11.5" SBR the other day. Did not know that would fit:eek:

I was just going to run it on a BCM BFH LW upper with a regular MOE handguard.

You aren’t going to get much love on here for wanting to permanently attach a muzzle device especially when you live in Florida where SBRs are legal.

Permanently attaching a muzzle device causes huge problems down the road if you gun needs servicing.

  1. You can’t replace the handguards / gas block / gas tube etc
  2. You risk causing a baffle strike in your silencer as residue build up can break loose during firing and interfere with the bullet path.
  3. You ruin any monetary value your barrel had

Here’s my 14.5 with permed SPR/M4

And with the can

The brake is not available in the MITER mounts last time I checked.

That doesn’t look like it will make 16".

Correct the brake is shorter than the flash hider. I ordered a MITER mount brake like above for the SBR. Ill more than likely just get a 16" middy as a backup weapon for training classes and just slap the MITER flash hider on that.

Old but here is my 14.5" LW BCM with 11" Troy TRX Alpha and SPR/M4 perm’d.

Shoots nice.
