I am looking to build my first AR15, and Im on a pretty small budget. I have about $1100 to spend on the rifle and want to get the best quality parts I can for that price.
The only real requirements are that it be reliable, and mid-length.

I know that if I get the Spike’s I will be well below my budget if I get:
Upper:
Spike’s Tactical 16" Midlength LE Upper
Lower:
Spike’s Tactical Complete Lower (Custom Built)
or
Spike’s Tactical Complete Lower w/ M4 Stock
Rear Sight:
Troy Rear Sight
Mags:
3 Pmags
That will be about $915-1000 (with coupon) depending on lower. Not including shipping or fees.
Ive heard great things about Spike’s and this seems like a very good direction to go.

Then theres also BCM which Ive also heard amazing things about.
If I went BCM I would most likely go with:
Upper:
BCM BFH 16" Mid Length Upper Receiver Group
Lower:
Either DSA ZM4 or something you recommend.
BCG:
BCM Bolt Carrier Group (MPI) - Auto
Charging Handle:
BCM AR15 Charging Handle
Rear Sight:
Troy Rear Sight
Handguard:
Cavalry Arms C6
Mags:
3 Pmags
That will be about $1050 not including shipping or fees.
Anybody know if theres any discounts/coupons for BCM?

Which direction should I go? I could afford more ammo/accessories if I went Spike’s and I like the fact that Ill have a matching upper and lower with Spike’s, but the BCM is calling me too.
I greatly appreciate any and all replies/comments.
