Just throwing this up here to see if there is any interest. When I spec’d this out, I thought it would be the last pistol I needed. Boy was I wrong. I took a 1911 course this past summer, built a pistol, and at the end of the course was ready to build another. In order to keep that up, I need to free up some capital. This is a Springfield Stainless TRP, my first 1911 actually. I shot 1000 rounds through it quickly, and I was very pleased with it. Then I decided to use it as a base gun for a dream build. I got $1400 worth of work done by SACS, not including new parts I sent in with the pistol. Since the work was completed, I have fired 600 rounds and carried it occasionally.
