The Franchi SPAS-12 and parts for it stopped being imported into the USA since 1989 and Franchi discontinued making it & parts for it in 2000.

The only nice thing about the SPAS-12 is having someone else buy yours.
Used to own one back in the 1980’s. Solidly built and heavy. In the semiauto mode, it was the softest recoiling 12 gauge you could ever shoot (thanks to all that weight). Think I paid $450 for it NIB in 1985.

Bought one around '89 for about $375.00. Went overseas for a few years and threw it in storage. Sold it in 1995 for $1,200.00.
They always open up the evidence lockers to full the tables at gun buy backs with scary-looking guns. Doubt it was actually traded in.
