So I just lost my first spring and detent to the carpet monster. It was the rear takedown set. Is there a spare parts kit available online that offers spares of the most commonly lost/broken parts?

It’s on the home page.
If Grant is out of stock try Rainer or Midway or Brownells. Plenty of places and companies usually have them in stock. I stick to Colt, but LMT and DD are spoken highly of. G&R even put together their own kits.
Those aren’t commonly lost/broken parts. They are parts lost by people who don’t know the correct way to remove or install components. Common parts are things like extractor springs, gas rings, hammer spring, etc…
Well I know how to remove and install these parts. I just left the plate off and left the rifle on a table for a bit came back and it was not in the slot
I am simply relaying my observations, not your particular situation.
Just didn’t want people thinking I was a shmuck that didn’t know how to take apart my gun…now a shmuck that doesn’t know how to keep his parts in his rifle after its broken down… maybe so haha
I keep a complete Daniel Defense lower parts kit on hand in the event I ever need something.
I use White Oak for a lot of the small single parts https://www.whiteoakarmament.com/xcart/home.php?cat=283; springs, detents etc
stx, PM me your address and I’ll send you those two parts.
Pm sent
Not a problem. I dropped them in the mail. Just pay it forward somewhere in the future.
Palmetto State Armory also carries a wide assortment of small parts. I have ordered several from them lately. A couple months ago, I finally bought a tackle box made by PLANO to put all of my small AR parts in. A good $20 investment. I carry enough small parts to build three lowers and uppers plus extras. Always a good idea to keep them on hand.
I’ve got 3 of these - pistol/rifle/shotgun:

I bought them at different times, they are almost always on sale for less than 15.00.
I just tack on some parts with everything I order from suppliers.
haha I have a couple of these and also a few Holmer boxes from Home Depot , awesome boxes for separate spare parts and I like that you can configure the size of the compartments ( talking about the Harbor Freight boxes)
For the future white oak as stated in previous post, but in a pinch theres windham, they had cheap parts in stock when NOBODY else did. They also did not and have not jacked up their prices.
They pretty much have everything all the time and small parts are like normally .50 or a dollar.
I dont need a six buck detent. Are they as good? I dont know, but they appear decent. They also sell alot of rifles. I see more windhams on store shelves than anything. Ive never bought a bolt, only spare parts for just the problem the OP had. Also i never had a problem with shipping or anything like that.
PS… Iam not comparing windham against colt , bcm or any other manufacturers. Only speaking from my experience. Also, i thought i had a nice little box of spare parts, I now feel ashamed after seeing yours. I need to take it up a notch. I ordered a vickers vcas sling from BCM the other day. I knew i should have added some small parts to my order…
Seeing more Windhams on shelves has little to do with anything. I can almost guarantee that Windham isn’t making their own springs, detents, etc… just as most companies don’t.
Didnt see anywere in my post were i said they did make there own parts. As you stated most companys dont. I find it hard to believe theres 20 factorys making pins and detents etc.
So why pay 6 bucks for a .03 piece like a detent that either works or it doesnt. I wonder why bcm doesnt sell small parts? I bet they dont make their own either. And ive never seen a bcm rifle on store shelves.
Their (bcm) lower parts kits that are for sale are rock river, stag or dpms. And i know how much you think of rock river and dpms.
Or did i miss it , are dpms parts now good to go? Becouse if i had to chose between dpms and windham ill take the windham all day long.
Once again iam not comparing windham to colt , bcm or any other manufacturers. Just saying they sell small parts that are not an arm and a leg. And a few years ago when small parts were gone they had them in stock. Would i put a windham pin in my 6920 or bcm rifle?? No… But if i lost my safety detent or spring something like that then yes it would be worth a try.
I wish i could go to academy and buy a bcm becouse there would be one in my safe right now,i would love to have one of their full size ar15. Unfortunately i live in a small town with one over priced junk selling gun store who wont do transfers becouse he wants you to buy the absolute overpriced crap hes got like a $100 dollar anderson lower thats for sale for half that price almost anywere else.Iam not saying andersons crap iam saying iam not paying $100 bucks for one. Especially from someone i dont like.
