Spare Parts for .22 Conversion?

I have a CMMG .22 conversion.

I’d like to buy some spare parts for it.

It’s been flawless, knock wood, and this is obviously not a “go-to” weapon, so this isn’t urgent. I’m just a bit OCD about collecting spare parts for the guns I own.

The problem is that I can hardly find anybody who sells spare parts for the Atchison/Ciener/CMMG/Spikes conversions anymore…

I think Lakeside and/or Black Dog used to sell spare extractors and firing pins for a couple bucks each, but neither sells them anymore.

EDIT: I finally found spare parts on Black Dog’s site: extractors and firing pins for $11 each, and a “survival” spare parts kit for $24.

CMMG wants $10 for an extractor (!) and $10 for a firing pin. Spikes wants $30 for a spare parts kit that includes both and a couple springs and pins.

I’m a big believer in the free market, but these prices just feel like gouging…

Does anybody know of another source? Am I just a cheap bastard?

buy some extra fire control pins. The hammer pins will break eventually.

Thanks, but I already have a fairly comprehensive collection of spare parts for my AR itself.

What I’m looking for now are spares for just the .22 kit.

Shadow65, thanks for the PM, but I really didn’t intend this thread as a “WTB,” and AFAIK the Spikes kit isn’t entirely compatible with the Atchison/Ciener/CMMG kits (the firing pins are different, at least).

You seem to be looking for something along the lines of $3 extractors and $4 firing pins. So no, you won’t find them.
