Sorry Guys ...

Recently, I have more of a history around here of needing prayers and emotional support in the past year - jeez mainly over my dogs which btw my wife and I rescued a Black and Tan male Doberman today we figure he is about ten months old his name is Tazz Von Spazz back to two Dobes .
I used to be able to contribute info and feedback but I am limited sitting and this is killing me typing this but I need to reach out, I hope you guys dont mind indulging my request for Prayers.
I have to back surgery 6-11 I just found out yesterday and its probably not anything I should worry about the doc seemed to know his feces (is that ok 9X19-lol) .
I have been dealing with this since I wrecked my wifes 2007 Saturn Sky on
1-31 and its just been one thing after another painwise, neck one day sciatica nerve in the right hip then next day in the left hip all the while I am seeing a Chiropractor and he sez he can fix my ‘sublixations’ but it will take 113 visits at $83 bucks a ‘POP’. The next day its the elbows I developed tendenitis in my elbows from white knuckling the steering wheel during the wreck - word of advice to anyone who may be seeing a pain management specialist - RUN they are just drug dealers for a co-pay, jeez I must have, since Feb consumed 200 Vicidon (Hyrdo-codone 500mg) and I dont want to end up in rehab so I stopped those a couple of weeks back, I got my heating pad and some anti inflammatory stuff which helps a little.
Then last Friday 5-16 I find out I am the entire department at the bank I work for the positions are being eliminated - outsourced ! And my employer is going to try to screw me out of 8 years severnce  because of my back injuries and the misguiding Doctors I have been seeing for four months who just ended up wasting most of the family medical leave time I have - nearly all I had. Thats what I need prayers for so I get my severence pay - please pray twice .
If I die during surgery you guys can split up my gear then the severence wont mean anything to me and my wife will have a lawsuit she can get rich from since St John Mercy Medical in Creve Coeur Mo has already killed her once , you lay down an insurance card and everybody wants a piece of you.

Thanks Guys wish me luck

Michael R George & family

When it rains it often pours, sadly.

You have my prayers, Michael.

Hammerdrop,

I am very sorry to hear of your troubles. I will definitely pray for you, and your family. I’ve had pain from a car accident, neck, back, hip, head. I took physical therapy, did my prescribed exercises. I would only take muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory. I didn’t want to take anything that is addictive.

I’ll pray that your doctor, who knows his feces  , has a steady hand and that all goes well, and that your severance pay is paid to you as it should be.

There is no need to apologize for asking for prayers. We all need them from time to time.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

May God bless you and your family.

THE LEADING CAUSE OF STROKE IN US ADULTS UNDER THE AGE OF 4O IS CHIROPRACTIC SPINAL MANIPULATION.

Go to a real doctor and spend the extra money on a massage.

No biggie Bro…EVERYBODY has bad times in their lives and need a little help from others whether its prayers or just plain support of some manner…just keep your chin up and keep on going…

Wow, that is a scary statistic. My wife used to work, in an administrative capacity, at a Chiropractic College. The students I met were a cast of characters. I have always been skeptical about this supposed “healing art.”

Oh, Hammerdrop, I forgot to add, in my opinion, never hold back on asking for prayers. Ask all you want. People of faith will pray for you if they deem the request appropriate. I will say a prayer for you today. 10-4 on the pain clinics. I would avoid pain clinics at all possible costs. I personally think pain management is a step down a slippery slope.

HammerDrop,
i wish you all the best, and will include you in my prayers…, i recently had surgery on my C2 thru C6 cervical spine, i am now sporting an 8" strip of Titanium in my neck, those bones had “spurs” growing into my spinal cord which caused me to have tingles in my hands/fingers and i walked like a drunk, there was some “mild” spinal cord damage that may never recover, my biggest problem now is in my right foot, a pain that is so bad at times i can not walk, my Dr. has me on oxycodone and oxycontin, 8 doses a day. i asked my Dr. why the pain in my right foot…, her reply was: “everything runs thru the neck”, meaning nerves.

you are NOT going to die in surgery, so your gear is safe…, take care and know we are all wishing you well and praying for your speedy recovery.

Michael,

As a Fedex guy I’ve seen many folks with significant back problems over the years. The pain and uncertainty can wreak havoc on your mind as well as your body so NEVER apologize for reaching out!

Blessings to you and we’ll see you back on the range soon!

Btw, my uneducated opinion is this, check into massage and PT over the chiropractor. Other’s mileage will vary.

Prayers sent to you and your family.
