Simply amazing.
I bet the guy at 1:44 shit his pants
Which guy? Both probably came close!
I bet!
I had no idea what the vid was when I clicked it.
When the first part came up at 1:19 I thought he was toast
:eek:INCREDIBLE:eek:
+1 INSANE
He was one of the first to get into base jumping. He is also one of if not the best at what he does. The suite he is wearing doesn’t look like a typical wing suite tho. Anyone have any info on it??
Its made of a light weight shit stain proof material I hope.
Wingsuit AR course class anyone?
Covering topics such as engaging on the move, barrel roll reloads and hands on approach with the AR.
Man, watching that pumped me up. This is now on my bucket list. Fucking awesome!!!
Munch, better make it the last thing on the bucket list…
Jeb Corliss is “special”…
True :big_boss:
Thank you, but, NO.
That man must clank when he walks.
I would love to try that. Although maybe not quite in the “style” he just did.
That takes more balls or less brains than I have…Screw that.
It is amazing though.
Just sent this to a co-worker who used to instruct aerial platform jumps and base jumping. He said this guy is ridiculously lucky to have survived that low level skim. Apparently thermals/currents/dust devils/etc can whip up anywhere and adversely affect altitude shifts at that level.
I skydive for fun, and always wanted to get into BASE, but unfortunately, the city of Philadelphia has an ordinance making it a felony to jump from any structure or span within the city. I could travel to jump, but I travel enough for other reasons that I’m kind of sick of being in a car or on a plane/train more than I need to.
I mean, come on! The Comcast building in Philly is just begging to be jumped. I can open the chute over the Ben Franklin Parkway and land over at the art museum. LET ME FREAKING JUMP!

There are other videos on YouTube of Jeb Corliss making that same jump. In none of them did come in as low on that gap as in the one above. That was amazing, but it’s hard to believe that he calculated that one to be as close as it was.
From what I read, he’s been working on a jump with the wingsuit to a rolling landing, no parachute.
I guess there’s a good reason he says he was lucky (he says it as he’s taking off his helmet at the end).

That man needs a very large bag to carry his very large brass balls. . .
Awesome. . .
I like the song too.
Seems that he broke both legs just a few weeks ago. Getting to close to the mountain.
