If possible I’d like to see the type of anodizing that’s used with the receivers. It would be interesting to see who uses type II or III.
I’ve thought of that, I only wonder how we verify it. So far my (and other’s) contact with manufacturers has resulted in mixed success in getting their feedback as to what they do.
Most are not stupid. They want to see the total chart, and the results are mixed when they are confronted, in black and white, with the fact that their advertised “milspec” claims may not be 100% accurate or may need an asterisk.
I agree, verifying the type would be the hard part. This is probably something that requires some specialized equipment to do.
Regardless, it would be a nice thing to know.![]()
