I’d be interested to know who is making the barrel and the spec’s.
I’m curious of the following…
- H&K blanks finished by DD?
- CL barrel?
- lightweight / medium / heavy profile?
- 416 BCG?
- sold as a complete top end? (URG)

Depends. What are doing with it? They have their place (specifically the HK design). For most though, a DI gun will do whatever you want it too.

The HK 416 system is for most the exception to that rule. It isn’t an aftermarket retro-fit.
Actually, let me “fix it for you”. It’s HK Germany’s policy to not sell them and HK Germany taxes HK USA’s sales 30-50%. W
FYI, the ejection port on the 416 is plastic. This is an adjustable ejection port cover.
I will leave it up to the distributed to announce the specifics.
What suppressor (if any) would you run on this?
I have would run a SF can on them (will just need to put their adaptor on).

The ejection port DOOR is plastic, how can you make it “adjustable” as it still is an ejection port door cover… this doesn’t compute to me.
If this is not coming from H&K USA as some sort of joint venture with DD and turns out to be some third party venture than I’m out.
And it’s not H&K Germany’s policy that gets in the way of selling 416s here, its German export law that H&K has to follow…

I wouldn’t run a Surefire can on it. There’s a very good reason why we are not running them on the 416’s right now. The cans we are using are the AAC M42000’s. So, if I was paying for it, that would be my second choice after the OSS “SD” mod which would give the barrel an OL of 14"
