5" Government size Talon. Nighthawk wood grips with NH logo. If you have never owned a 1911 of this quality, you WILL BE impressed. Period.
This is the 5" Government Talon, as seen on NH’s site. With the following exception/addition/modification I had done by Nighthawks gunsmiths:
I had the Slide Stop milled flush with the frame, and refinished so that the Slide Stop axle is nice and flush for a much better look. The extra slide stop cost $50 for the part, and I also paid additional cost for the Permakoting of the new tool steel slide stop.
This Talon for sale is like factory new. It has been test fired at factory, then I purchased it, and put a box of shells through it for function check, before I then immediately sent it back to the factory for the Slide Stop upgrade, which I wanted added. It was then sent back to me, and has been put away in it’s case.
This Nighthawk comes COMPLETE with factory test fire target and test fire shell, absolutely stunning padded case, which not only holds TWO 1911’s totally seperate and protected from each other, but also has 8 slots for mags, and an extra large compartment on the side for plenty of accessories. If you’ve never seen these nice “Nighthawk” embroidered BULLDOG BRAND padded carry cases, you will be pleasantly surprised when you receive one. Each Nighthawk Custom 1911 comes with one of these custom cases, and it is a case you will actually use for life. Some of the nicest cases made.
