I really had no intention of parting with this, but an NFA deal popped up that I just can’t pass on. So, to fund my new toy, it has to go.

Anyway, here is my 6" Colt “357” (predecessor to the Colt Trooper). Mechanically, it’s in perfect shape and locks up tighter than anything coming off the production lines today. Finish wise, there’s a turn ring on the cylinder and a small spot of blue wear at the top of the backstrap.
The grips aren’t original. The original owner, who I bought it from, handmade them and did an impressive job. Even the hand checkering is perfect.
It was manufactured either 1957 or 1958, so it’s C&R. I’ll let it go for $650 shipped and insured to either an 01 or 03FFL. This is absolutely as low as I will go on this one. If it doesn’t sell at this price, it will stay in my safe.
