I just installed some new grips on my MP Ar’s
and the saftey works but seams soft. and not very positive.
grips are Miad from magpul i think i may need to stretch the spring a bit any
love the grips there great… and have never had an issue with them on my other guns thoughts.
I noticed this with my MIAD as well. I just stretched out the spring and now it works fine.
They may be drilling the hole for the detent spring a bit deep. Check it against a standard grip by sticking a toothpick or something in there to see if there’s a difference. If so, you could plug it a bit with a chunk of something, or just stretch the spring.
