I’ve seen 3 semi auto open bolt MACs for sale in the past two weeks that were all advertised above $2K. What the hell are these moron thinking?
These things are lower than just about any pistol and are a throwdown in semi form.
I can buy a nice used transferable one for $2.5K and NIB around $3K+
For that price, one might as well spend an extra $1k and get one with a giggle switch.
My guess is because of the rarity of a pre-82 open bolt semi. Most of em’ were converted to FA pre-may 86’. Still, the price is too high.

Still wish I had my m11/9… Paid $450 back in 98…
It is pretty easy for me to guess why the guy selling those thinks he can get that for the open bolt MAC’s.
I have seen several fully transferable MAC’s in 99% condition sell this year for $2500.
