What’s the average time for a paper form 1 taking now?
Times are getting shorter but they’re coming down from a 10 month wait instead of a 5-6 month wait. I’ve seen a few random reports of paper forms coming back in the 5-6 month timeframe but I don’t think they’re that fast as a general rule yet.
I just had three (form 1’s & 4’s) take about 9mos. Hoping the 3rd stamp shows up to my NFA FFL today in fact as it was approved a couple of weeks ago.
I followed up on my paper form 4 for an SBR today and it’s now listed as January (submitted in April). That’s 9 months. It has pushed from October which was the original quoted time from the nfa branch.
Just completed my form 1 tonight. Hard to believe I stand a chance of getting that back prior to my form 4 from April. Will report.
