So I Just Got Off The Phone With Wal Mart Corporate HQ

Management has told me NOTHING HAS CHANGED WITH RESPECT TO SALES OF GUNS AND AMMO.

THEY ARE STILL SELLING GUNS AND AMMO.

Whoever is floating these stupid rumors about Wally World dropping guns and ammo as a consumer category is full of shit.

My local Wally world is still selling but are limiting 2 boxes of ammo per customer.

To follow up on Slut.

Based on my research it is a miscommunication problem.

Because of the run on ammo, individual stores aren’t being allowed to order ammo.

They are just getting whatever their local distribution hub can get. I think it is a effort to reduce all the “can we get this”, “No”, “Well, what about this?”, “No”, etc.

I realize it is actually electronic but you get the idea, it is going to be a waste of bandwidth because NO ONE can get ammo.:frowning:

The reason there is a run on ammo is because of POTENTIAL legislation. And that is why they won’t accept orders from stores. Not because Wal-mart will no longer sell ammo.

But it is an unfortunate sign of where we are as a country right now.

Just so everyone can stay abreast on the situation Wal-Mart, Bass Pro, and Dick’s have met with Eric Holder behind close doors.

Correct… it is not a matter of not selling. It is a matter of ordering new supplies for the stores.

So we have reached the point of socialized retail outlets. The retailers are meeting with the Devil Holder to determine how they will move forward.

Interesting.

I think that is being misinterpreted as they won’t carry ammo after they sell what they have.

From what I understand, that isn’t what is happening. It is just that the individual store can’t order say, 10,000 rds of .223 and 9mm.

They will get what they will get based on what Wal-mart can get. They won’t be able to specify/reorder what they want or are out of.

The truck will just come in with whatever they have at the time.

I see… that makes sense as well. I don’t how a retailer or manufacture knows what the hell to do.

The Irony & ignorance is dumfounding.
Bass Pro doesn’t even realize that their own business will suffer from Agenda 21 once & “IF” it comes to fruition. Agenda 21 does away w/ Fishing, Recreational Off Roading, Motorcycling, ATV’s, Hunting, Skiing etc.

A significant amount of Bass Pro generates $ from Fishing & Hunting. They are facilitating their own demise. People blindly put their trust into people only to be stabbed in the back. Truly amazing & dark time in history. They don’t do their diligence at their own peril. The Trojan Horse rides again.
Wow, stupid is as stupid does…

Dunno who Mark Levin is but this is on point http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/01/14/mark_levin_reacts_to_obama_presser_we_have_an_imperial_president.html

Thank you for taking the time to get the straight story.

So what does this mean?

http://www.weapon-blog.com/2013/01/walmart-ammunition/

“Hard Blocked?”

Yeah, talk about sleeping with the enemy. My guess is Wal-Mart, Bass Pro, etc. want to appease The Great Oz and somehow advert hurting their profit margins. Depending on what all was discussed at that meeting and if those retailers stop carrying ammo they should be boycotted. My guess is that Holder gave them a heads up on a new ammo tax coming down the pipe that would make retail giants think twice before selling ammo. But who knows . . .

One of my local Wal-Mart stores had a similar sign posted on their ammo showcase; it read Warehouse is OUT of 9mm, 40SW, 45ACP, 223. IMO the individual stores are handling things themselves which adds to the confusion. I would surmise there are quit a lot of mangers and clerks getting tired of being asked for those particular calibers.

It’s only been in the last few years Bass Pro even started selling AR’s and such. I used to read stories from people all the time about how they asked if they sold AR’s and got snotty answers about how they don’t sell those type of guns.

Wal Mart was even more recent.

Cabelas had a couple. Been expanding selection over time.

I personally don’t like buying firearms from big box stores like that. Never bought a firearm at Wal Mart and don’t normally shop there unless it’s something last minute and no one else is open.

I just seen on TV they have a protest going on, I believe it was at the Newtown Walmart. They are protesting the sale of AR15’s by Walmart.
Being the good corporate citizen that they are and having their bottom line first in mind, I mean the communities safety first in mind, I think they will cave in pretty quick. They are kind of like Judas, in the future people will ask them, “didn’t you use to sell them AR15 assault rifles”? They will say " who, us ? No, we were never with Jesus (sold AR15’s). I have no doubt most of the protesters probably mean well, but they really have no clue to what is really going on, and they are just being used as pawns in this fight. Also, while the protest is going on, maybe the concerned citizens should include cigarettes, alcohol, p-meds and sugar to their protest list. Come on Walmart, do it for our kids.

was in my local wally world they still had some ammo and Lots of rifles all the AR’s are going But they Have shotguns and Lever action and bolt action rifles

IF, IF? Its already being implemented.

Thanks Slut!

It’s strange how often I say those same words.

Slut’s a training buddy of mine offline, you wont find a better guy on the planet. He puts his ass where his mouth is and doesn’t just talk like far to many. Not to mention he trains as hard as anyone I know and that I respect, respect a lot.

As we say down south, Sluts is good people.
