I just thought I would share with you the newest addition to the family, my Medusa SS 16M, her serial # is under (00055)
This is the basic version, it was purchased from Landworld and took them three weeks to deliver it!.. But it did come with the BB installed and the original mag as a parts kit.
Rifle gear preformed the DROSS and of course handled it all with the upmost professionalism. Although I did find some new finger prints on it!.. Bastards… jk… But I did manage to pick up a few things while I was there as well… Thanks guys…
Anyway on to the fun stuff… Yes! She’s still got that new gun smell…

I don’t know why the upper is purple in the pics but I can tell you its all black…
Ok…. So now the gun porn is completed it time to go into thoughts of it…
After the wow / cool factor is gone (doesn’t take to long) when actually braking down the rifle for what it is here’s my opinion of it…
Good / Praise / well done!:
Very user friendly…
Comes apart simple and quick! With NO tools required…
Easy to work the controls (with the exception of the Fricken BB)
Looks like its going to be a fun rifle to shoot
Bad / bit hes / gripes:
Feels rather plastic’ee, the safe selector switch feel like it’s not going to last that long at all. I give it a year or two tops!.
The receiver is plastic too with the exception of the trigger mechanism
The front bolt handle is lose and wobbles around?. I need to go in and look at it, but I’m thinking it was designed that way? Why?? IDK?? But it either cheaply made or its lose… TBD
It’s front heavy for sure!.. overall the rifle is rather heavy!, I need to weigh it…
NO sling or sling attachments included with the rifle, just bitch en here…
The boy and I heading out the range on Sunday to try it out!.. I plan on putting a few hundred rounds thru her so we’ll see how she holds up and how accurate she is as the ACOG should let me reach out a few hundred yards too.
Bottom line at this moment…
Was she worth the price…

its 8.2 lbs confirmed by other owners. The charging handle bends back a little because when you push it forward it acts like the forward assist, so it has that small amount of movement in the CH. When it swivels back it basically unlocks the forward assist

I wondered about the Barney upper, but throwing new gun parts on the floor of the garage makes it up. Now for the introductory drag down the driveway.

hahahaa it’s not thou… it’s black in person… I don’t know why it’s purple in the pics sorry… it might have something to do with it’s the only metal part on the rifle and or I just suck at taking pics. Hahaha…

I think releasing the basic model and having a SCAR price is going to keep the ACR from being a huge hit in the short term
In the long term, I think it will be a very successful product if no major gremlins pop up in the design. A year from now there will be a significant ACR owning population on gun forums
Some of the purple may be artifact from the camera lens, but I don’t think that’s the entire issue. The purple hue looks like the anodizing was done incorrectly: either too thin or the dye bath was not correct. The only anodized black parts I have that photograph purple are those I purchases as blems.
I am just wondering when you say it is “front heavy” do you mean more so than an AR? Not a basic AR…one with long rail, flashlight, and whatnot.
Seems to me that a basic M4 style rifle balances really well…it is US that make them front heavy with all of our tacticool goodies. If this thing is starting out front heavy…I can see some fatigued support arms in the future.
