I had high hopes, but a lot of ex SEALS have 0 nice things to say and a couple have called him out.
He certainly seems to be going RINO to me.
All you need to know is what he said when the 20 were holding up the Speaker vote. He called them “terrorists.” I’d say he and Van Orden are both victims of their team training…Van Orden was a disappointment during that ordeal as well.
Clearly they don’t understand how badly broken the government is and they are both there to maintain the status quo.
The Military trains you to conform and respect the chain of command. Neither of which leads to anything but maintenance of the status quo. They both rolled into their respective offices and caved to the “man” from day one and stood up there and used their military “credentials” to blast those who were trying to ensure the Speaker didn’t RINO too hard.
Following orders and pulling triggers doesn’t necessarily make you the smartest dude in the room, nor does it make you an agent for change.
The US Military is its own little echo chamber for the most part.
I’ve shaken Van Orden’s hand, and while he might be a whole world better to Western Wisconsin, he needs to really up his game in general. I do think that Dan has failed because he’s trying to play their game instead of just working for the people he serves

The moment I saw him pose for a photo with Moms Demand Action I knew he was a POS. By doing so he gave them the appearance of legitimacy. He should have ignored them like they weren’t even there.

After seeing the EG video, he’s worse than a RINO, he’s a pathological liar who will say anything he thinks you’ll believe, as long as it serves him.
People like that are best avoided.
He’s a politician…That should pretty much tell you everything you need to know about his character.

If you really think about it. The military itself is a form of socialism/communism. You get assigned a job, you do it. You get housing, meals, etc, taken care of. There is a hierarchy and orders are strictly followed. Group think is taught to be followed at the low level and demanded to be adhered to by the higher level.
I am not saying it isn’t necessary for it to work, just saying the way things are.
That is why I think a lot of the higher ups and old timers that have been in this system for so long see it as the way it should be for all. They are all about Globalism. It’s all they know, and they are near the top. Who wouldn’t be for it when you are in the upper echelon?
That’s why a standing military for the USA is not in the constitution and a militia is.
That way the government can’t use the military to do what we murdered the English for doing.
