I’m thinking about replacing my G42 as my BUG with the Bodyguard 2.0.
The round count between the two is vastly different and appealing but I have zero hands on with the 2.0 and the 42 is super accurate for what it is. My question to you guys, is it just as accurate and is it as reliable and easy to shoot?

I haven’t used the Bodyguard 2.0 myself, but I’ve heard it’s pretty reliable and easy to handle. Accuracy can vary with different shooters, but many people say it’s solid for its size. If you’re looking for a higher round count, it might be worth a try.

How does it shoot? What kind of accuracy?
It feels tiny in the hand, but the ergos are great. It shoots very well and snaps less than pretty much any .380. I guess that’s due to its locked breech. I mean a PPK for example is miserable in .380, the BG is no issue. I’m skeptical of any new gun coming out but S&W has done a lot of things right in recent years. Sofar in maybe 150 rounds of ball and HP’s it’s been without malfunctions. I honestly don’t know how this little feller holds as many rounds as it does and indeed it’s tough getting the tenth round in but it works. Accuracy is very good I would say for a pistol this size, it’ll do a cantaloupe at 28 yards but the zero isn’t perfect, working on that.
