Description: First, this is not a collector piece, it is a shooter. I tried to capture details the best I could in the photos. Overall, I would say it’s in good condition cosmetically and functions 100% There is some flaws and I’ll try to explain them the best I can. Stay with me, I’m not a revolver guy.
There’s some pitting/rust spots behind the trigger guard and the grip straps. Also, minor pitting on the left side of the frame and a little more substantial pitting spots on the right side of the frame.
There’s a nick on the barrel on the left side which I captured in one of the photos.
The grips are in overall pretty nice shape with no real significant scratches or chips. They do show handling marks.

The good things: The pistol functions perfectly. The single action on this is absolutely incredible. After acquiring it in a trade, I put 6 rds through it to test function. Not a real test of durability but wanted to make sure it worked). Comes with Smith and Wesson box with aftermarket label (recently brought to my attention) and paperwork. I didn’t take the grips off, but the rest of the gun has matching numbers so I assume the numbers match.
Like I said, I’m not a revolver guy so if you have any questions, I’ll try to answer them the best I can. Overall, I think this is a nice example of a classic Smith revolver, but it’s by no means a collector piece. Please keep that in mind.
