Hi everyone! This is my first posting and I must say that this site is very informative. I recently bought an M&P15T and out of the box it was a short stroking machine. I called smith and wesson and they said “Shoot is some more, it needs to break in…”. After I read some of the comments about the aluminum gas block on this forum I called smith and wesson and the agreed to look at the rifle. Just waiting for the prepaid shipping label. thanks again.
My 15T ran fine out of the box, just needed a quick lube and patch down the bore to remove the factory leftovers there. Hope things turn out right for you.
