This looks neat if it can get hearing safe without the hassle of a stamp.
The YouTube vid is hard to watch and look at, but interesting if your inner dad can get over the punk rock/sick rat hairdo the kid is sporting.

I would love something like that for my patrol rifle. Touching off a 5.59 from a 16" barrel can be hard for the ears in the woods.
Basically a silencer without a front cap, good luck…
According to the videos I’ve seen, it’s not a suppressor; it just redirects the sound waves forward. So behind the muzzle, the Dbs are in the 130 range, but they’re still 150+ in front of the gun.
Basically a Noveske Pig?
I’ve got the YHM model. Works great for the shooter on my 11.5. Loud if you’re forward.
You get significant flash with these.
Spoiler alert. You won’t get hearing safe with a blast can.
Nope. Not even with Subs like the claim
Which suppressors reduce the sound signature to below 85 dB?
85 dB is “hearing safe”.
85 dB is hearing safe for 8 hours/day. It’s higher for sounds with shorter exposure time - there’s plenty of charts online that show the levels.
With that said, I’m curious how much this product or a linear comp actually reduces the noise at the shooter’s ears (by directing it forward). Anybody know of any test data available on that?
This is the same company that makes a 3.5” x 1.125” silencer out of 416, and they claim 136db and no blowback. Full auto rated from 7”. Cool story, right?
Ten minutes is still 100dB.
Daytime visible and impressive with IMI, Fed, and Winchester.
Haven’t seen GI Ball fired through these or something like it.
It looks like a regular blast forward device with a different name. Am I missing something?
Saw this one on the interwebs/Instagram the other day, didn’t put it together with this post until now.
If that’s a 10.5 he must be 4’11
FWIW a metered test of a few of their offerings. I may get a SME in for testing one of these days; we shall see…
