SLR105 Question

I have heard that some of the SLR105s with the MIM fire control group had breakage problems. Is this an overexagerated problem or do I need to look at replacing my fire control group? I have several hundred rounds through mine but it has not broke yet so I am wondering if it is a matter of time.

I own a SLR-105R, the only parts that I have swaped out is the “post ban” FSB and the NATO stock for a threaded FSB and Warsaw stock. I haven’t heard of any problems with the factory FCG as far as parts breaking. If you don’t trust the factory FCG then I’d get the G2 FCG.

I’d only worry about it if the bolt carrier starts to deform the hammer on cocking. I would put a spare set of G2 FCG parts in my parts bin, as they are (one of) the weak link(s) on imported AKs.
