Sling question

I apologize for the novice question but I’d rather ask about it before the purchase instead of having regrets after the purchase. I know, it shows just how much of a newbie I am when it comes to the M4 world.

Say I buy this simple sling and attach it to a Colt 6920 -

Does it come with everything I need to attach it with? When it comes in the mail can I just throw it on in a minute or so and be done or are there any extra attachments that need to be purchased?

Looks like a simple one point, do you have a sling attachment end plate on your carbine? The little ring in that pic with the QD stud is an example of this.

No, I don’t have one. However, is that the only other item I would need to successfully attach the sling?

for that sling, it certainly looks like it, yes.
