Fools and money…
REALLY???
How stupid can these people possibly be?
WTF :nono:
HT
And there a a good number of people bidding
They’re anticipating a ban and want to have some glory before it’s gone.
‘Own a piece of history’…
dumba$$es.
hopefully that stupidity doesn’t crossover to ammo and firearms.
It’s a tactic to create a crisis and artificially inflate the price. If you notice, there are only two stocks being being bidded up high. Both are from the same seller. The top bidder for both is the same bidder.
I have never liked the device to begin with. a) I don’t see the need. If I need to shoot my semi-auto rifle, I can do so at more accuracy and a little slower; b) I think it flirts with the NFA, and at anytime, there can be a new BATF head who writes a new opinion on these devices, and whammo, a subpoena d.t. on every dealer who ever sold one…
There have been about 20 MOD stocks that have sold for $500. Could not all have been the same buyer / bidder. I checked completed auctions.
also got an email this morning from a well known online gun retail site, putting Surefire mega magazines on sale. That is another item that has never attracted me. I can better handle 30-rounders than a double-stack 50 or 60, and carry more. I am 100% 2nd Amendment, and think suppressors and SBRs should be more easily accessible, but these bump-fire and mega magazines, in some way, I think, attract undue attention from the left. To me these are gimmicks, and to the anti-gun crowd, it is just too much attention to items that the non-gun owner would look at and say, “holy shit.” We just don’t need anymore “holy shits” from useless gimmick items that will certainly make the news.
Just one man’s opinion…
I think suppressors are completely unnecessary for a citizen to own. Anyone wishing to suppress the sound of them shooting clearly has nefarious intentions, I mean they can just use hearing protection the is so advanced today that there are electronic ones that can not only block out the sound of gunfire, but they can also increase hearing ability otherwise. Everyone else should be able to hear if someone is shooting a gun nearby so they are able to discern for themselves how to handle the situation.
See what I did there?
Just one non gun grabber’s opinion…
I don’t give two fiqs what the left thinks. They are out to to make us all subjects of the government in the name of domestic tranquility and none of us owe them any apology for being free people exercising our liberties. To them, I say, This is my house. Get off my lawn.
The left can suck it. Bad shit is going to happen. An AR-15 has very little sporting purpose, it’s a finally tuned and well designed killing machine… embrace it. The point of the second amendment is a balancing act against an out of control and tyrannical government. 60rd Surefire mags help that purpose.

Let’s be realistic and look at the figures:
A magazine change, conservatively, is 2 seconds.
Two 30 round mags are an ounce or two more in weight loaded compared to a single 60 rounder.
Banning something because of “Erh-Mah-Gerd, It holds HOW MANYU BULLITZ” is just catering to the lack of understanding that people have.
AR15s DO have sporting purpose. They make great Varmint rifles, they make great sport shooting rifles for competition and skill challenges.
IF they ban any Magazines, I would expect an equal ban on Gas tanks, as more gas just equals more ability to add killing power to that tool IF IT WAS CHOSEN TO BE USED THAT WAY BY A CRAZY WACKO. Yes. It’s rhetoric in case anyone missed that.
Look, I am not here to be anti-gun. Anything but that. I live and breathe firearms and our liberty. I am also very cognizant of how every-day people might think of certain accessories. There is no way the USA will go for another assault weapons ban. I don’t think the every day Joe will support that. BUT, when you start talking about items that can sound (from CNN, CBS, et. al.) like something outside of what “normal people” would have, it is going to be very easy for Congress to propose some restrictions. I am not happy that Reagan endorsed the 1986 firearms ban on automatic fire weapons. But, that is law, and mainstream America (every day Joe) does not support a repeal, and it is the law of the land. Given that, the fact that we now see this mad man using some contraption for quasi automatic fire and 50 round magazine, the majority of Americans are going to see that as “odd.”
It might be better for us – the pro-Gun, pro-Liberty people – to take some initiative to sound “normal” and not sound like we are part of the crazies. Is there something – just a question – is there something we can offer-up to be part of the solution, and still not go down the slippery road that slowly carves away at our rights? If “we” endorse and support things like bump-fire contraptions, we will sound like the problem, and not the solution. I am just saying. The average Joe that wants to uphold our right to own an AR15 will not support us owning the contraptions that killed 59 people. We have to at least look at how average Joe looks at us, and not back ourselves into a corner where we lose even more.
Enough said on my part. God bless us all.
Sounds EXACTLY like a slippery slope. After the 60’s/100’s/slidefires are banned, what’s next?
“If “we” endorse and support things like [30 round magazines], we will sound like the problem, and not the solution. I am just saying.”
Just out of curiosity, and to frame the idiocy, what was the asking price for one of these devices before the Las Vegas incident?
What, you <in general> just have to have one because it used by a mass murderer? Whatever wacko.
I wasn’t interested before the LV horror and I sure as hell don’t one now let alone give 5 bills for one
I saw them as low as 99 on sale. 149 at most times. I think I see the entry one on their website for 179 MSRP right now.
Lots of people were selling them on armslist in the 50 dollar range, well, prior to the hype.
