Single point slings and fixed stocks.

Newest build I am using an entry stock with 1" extender and ctk stud replacement for the bottom sling loop.

Wondering what best option(s) is/are for using a single point sling.

Honestly thinking just drilling through the extender, underneath where the extension tube is, and simply installing a small nylon covered metal cable would be best, but I am lazy, I admit it, so would first like to explore all options and hopefully there’s either better or someone’s already done what I am thinking unbeknownst to me.

Also, this is to be used with an HK style clip, no quick detach.

Using one of these would be the cleanest and strongest way to incorporate a qd sling attachment to an entry stock:

It will also add about a quarter of an inch of length. Good luck.
