dude that video is so awesome, Travis is pretty damn funny in it how they’re just carrying on casual conversation… Anyone know the exact make and model of the rifle in use??
It is a Bushmaster, A.R.M.S. S.I.R. rail system, possibly a Leupold scope.
awesome, I was thinking it was a Knight Armament SR-15… the scope is a Leupold 3.5-10x40 Mark 4 LR/T 30mm LEU5366… what size caliber??
Damn sweet Travis!
Great looking set up.
I’m looking foward to training with Travis this August in Michigan.
Steve

Cool video and a sweet rifle. I had not seen An Najef since 2003, but that was the first city in Iraq which I personally came under fire (60mm Mortar and machine gun).
One thing, and I admit it is hard to tell what is going on in portions of that video, however it seems that one of the Blackwater fellows seemed to be directing fire from a US Army Automatic Rifleman. It occurred at about -1:30 in the video. As a former Infantry squad leader in the Five O’ Deuce 101 ABN this is very troubling to me.
I never personally worked with any Blackwater types, however I did work with some other US Gov’t “Plainclothes” types rather frequently. There was an understanding that we had a job to do, and they had a job to do. While this frequently meant we would be pulling security, or otherwise supporting these folks it never meant they overrode our chain of command and began leading our soldiers. They would NEVER distract, or otherwise interrupt a Soldier, much less direct their fire during a fire fight. They dealt with me or with my LT. and that was it. Have things changed? Can someone clarify?
Are you talking about Travis’s spotter?
No I don’t think so. However I’m afraid I am not sure who Travis or his spotter is. I am talking about the fellow in the blue backwards baseball cap who was talking to the US Soldier (I assume it is a US Soldier he sure is dressed in the 2003-2005 OIF vintage ware
) firing the M249 from the kneeling position from behind the barricade.
So… is anything getting set up for Indiana?
