I was checking out silver state armory and their ammo selections when I came across a 5.56 64 grain ppt . It looks to be plastic tipped in their photo but no info is given on the round other than velocity and trajectory. What is this? And what is it good for?

I don’t see anything in the description denoting a ballistic tip and the picture shows a lead power point bullet.
