Silly silly question about cans

So I bought this FDE AR, factory FDE. I have a bunch of cans, but none FDE. Does anyone regret getting an FDE can because the carbon looks like shit after your first shooting.

I mean who really gives a shit, but I still don’t want to regret $1,000 plus purchase.

A black can never looks bad so…

PB

Rattle can a black one and see what happens.
I have a FDE end cap on a black SiCo can and it really hasn’t changed appearance that much. It has some burned on, discolored stain from shooting a bunch of lube down the barrel but it’s a dark brown color…

You can refinish it if it bothers you that much.

/\ yup

c series cerakote works good on suppressors , it’s the air dry cerakote

Just call it “ombre”.

Honestly, this thread makes me sad. PB of all people.

Omega FDE

Osprey FDE

Helps them stay cooler in the desert sun, among other desirable features. Haven’t notice any problem at all with carbon on the exteriors.

It was difficult to admit, LMFAO , kinda like a mani pedi

Very difficult thread to start. oh im still laughing

Mega , gracias

im going FDE and its going to be a Knights so my vaginda tinged at the thought of shitcaning the purchase

I carry rifles around via the scope and start this thread …

PB

That was smart how omega did that cap.

FDE suppressor cover? no?

If I run red dots probably not. If I put my Burris 1-8 w/RDS I WOULD. It largely negates color choice.

Regardless I’m FDE, that was my plan unless I created civil unrest with the question.
