Silly Russian Propaganda is Silly

It’s like they don’t even try.

Here’s some show about spetsnaz weapons with English subtitles.
The “hostage rescue” scenes are ridiculous. At least American shows will tell you what you are about to see is a dramatization. The Russians expect you to believe it’s real.:sarcastic:

The russians have always been keen on propaganda, they apparantly think its worth the effort…

i got a good laugh out of this thanks for the post lol espically loved the so called 10 misfires out of the uzi

It worked for Obama…

^^^^^ Well done comrade you will receive the Community Iron Cross of the Worker for this “get out the vote” post.

hey guys, not to be a dick or anything, but Im only 1m33s of the first vid and I already saw that quite a bit of the translation in subtitles is not right. Im not even watching the vid, just listening to the words and reading the english translation and its WAY off.

like when the translation says “Modern Anti-Terror weapons” the guy actualy says “modernised versions of traditional Soviet/Russian Anti-terror weapons” There are many more incorrect tranlations it would just take me waaaaay to long to write them all out, and I doubt anyone would care.

Plus, once the reinacment starts, the subtitles are too small for me to see on my iPhone.

It’s worked long before Obama here…

It’s worked all over the world from the beginning of civilization.

The Chinese have very similar videos on promoting their domestic weaponry. An example would be their 5.8x42mm family of weapons that they claim are superior to anything offered in the west.

I would say that the US is just as bad with shows like Future Weapons.

It’s certainly worked. I never cease to be amazed by the number of people on the internet and in gun magazines who are convinced Russian counter-terror units and techniques are equal to or far superior to the west’s.

It obviously wasn’t translated by a Russian, some definitions were off, but the general idea was conveyed properly. As usual, with Russians, it’s a big pat on the back, our stuff is better, imperialist american stuff is terrible, blah, blah, blah.
