SilencerCo Specwar 7.62... any point in using this suppressor on a 6.8 spc rifle?

I just put in an order for a SilencerCo Specwar 7.62 can to use on my 308 and 300 blackout but I was curious to know how effective it would be with a smaller caliber like 6.8. Also, will this suppressor work with a 338 federal round? I’m assuming not but might as well ask.

It should be fine on the 6.8.

Just curious…did you happen to order it from Silencer Shop? They started a deal yesterday where you could get a Spectre II for $99 with the purchase of a Specwar 7.62 or a Harvester.

The Specwar 762 is rated for use with 6.8SPC.

It does not have the proper clearance and not rated for 338 Federal.

I did order it from the silencer shop about 2 weeks ago and they weren’t running that deal on the Spectre, kind of pissed now that I see that.

E-mail them, they may honor it. They did for me when my Surefire 556rc went on sale.

Maybe it’s my phone but I’m not seeing that. Do have a link?

ETA: n/m. Found it. http://www.silencershop.com/silencerco-spectre-ii-99/

For anybody else looking…just go straight to the Harvester or Specwar listings. There’s a Yes/No dropdown box for the Add-On $99 Spectre II right below where you select your thread pitch.

If you missed out on that deal just order an AAC Pilot 2 for $260 that qualifies for the $200 Damn the Man rebate. I think that’s a better deal myself.

A spectre is better than a pilot 2.

It is a better built can.

This sale is quite a deal for someone starting out.

The specwar is a very good centerfire can. Equal to an AAC 90t or a surefire legacy can.

The spectre is the best rimfire can on the market.
