Well I finally got the video done. Sorry it took so long! I was waiting until I got some footage of the IGFS custom G17, Beretta 92FS Compact and the MP5. I must say I really like this can. It sounds just fine with 9mm though the 45acp endcap. I filmed both caps (9 and 45) and the onscreen tone was so negligible I decided to leave it out so the video didn’t drag on. Your feedback is appreciated!
Very well done video and love the audio and the way you can tell the different tones. I have an Octane 9. Will my 3 lug adapter work in the Octane 45K?
It will according to the specifications page on SilencerShop’s product page. However, a phone call to SilencerCo may be a good idea.
Thanks for the video. Ironically, I just placed an order for this suppressor last night with Tar Heel State Firearms. I HIGHLY recommend them for all of your suppressor needs if you are in NC or local to Charlotte. The owner, Scott, is good people and KNOWS customer service.
Yup it uses the same adaptor across the line! ![]()
I’m using a Rode professional stereo mic. I’m glad someone noticed. Thanks for watching!
Yes, IMHO these are the best pistol cans on the market. I take mine apart, drop it in the ultrasonic and it comes out very clean.
Did I see you use a Harvester thread mount on the Octane!? That’s amazing!
Any hangups or does it work as if it were made for the Octane?
Yes you did! It’s not an official word from SiCo but I don’t know why. It makes the can much shorter! It was a seamless fit as if an evil little engineer cooked it up in his head one night lol.
Also means you could 3-lug a Harvester? :dirol:
Your first shot with 9mm through a harvester would be um… quite bad lol.
Yeah, I get that.
But I could put 3-lug adapters on all my hunting rifles if I wanted to be a little more tactical. Thread pitch of the Octane 3-lug and the Harvester DT are obviously the same, just curious if there was any clearance issue getting the 3-lug mount into the Harvester.
Had the local GS hold an Octane K 45 for me. Will go pay on Saturday and the long wait begins!!
Hows the blowback compared to the full size Octane?
